I love dc comics a lot

So unrelated to the fact that I am submitting my profile to WB soon. (They own DC) and that I am actively manifesting a career with them (Hi WB peeps if you're reading this! I can't express my LOVE for DC stuff but I can in person;))
My love for DC started as for many people my age with Batman the Animated Series with then evolved with all the other cartoons, then the films and then at long last (I think in 2009) the comics.
I love Marvel, don't get me wrong. But I prefer DC overall. I just think they have better characters overall and more interesting storylines to me.
I hear it said a lot that Marvel heroes are normal people trying to be "gods" and DC heroes are "gods" trying to be normal. I don't agree.
While it might apply to some of DC's most popular heroes (Superman, Wondy, Flash etc) I don't think it's so much what defines their difference.
To me Marvel is focused on real people dealing with real issues (poorly phrased) that could happen in these circumstances. To illustrate I mean that Marvel things can be epic and relatable: In a way Civil War (at least its premise is very good imo) but can also fall into the mundane.
Whereas DC tends to focus on people trying to elevate, push hope. Difficult not to when three of your major heroes are Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash, literal beacons of hope. So DC tends to go bigger in scale and more conceptual.
And this of course isn't a major difference. There is more boots on the ground real things in DC with Batman or Green Arrow and there is also bigger more hopeful stuff in Marvel. It's all a big family. My point is that I don't see a "Sokovia accord" happening in DC just like I don't see a Multiversity happening in Marvel.
To each their own but if only for the supporting cast and civilians, it's DC for me hahaha (IYKYK)

Hello there!
If you are reading this then welcome and good luck. This is only for my deepest thoughts and they're not always interesting but stick around maybe it'll be fun. This will be updates, reviews and dissecting some stuff I've been working on.
